Ranking Report - Tiger Tally

THE BIG NUMBERS

19 Squash Tigers in the top 32 of their respective age groups!

6 in the top 8 and 11 in the top 10!

Congratulations everyone!

DRILLING DOWN

Leading off from the top, the U/17s

Congratulations to Reghan on becoming the GU17 number 1!  Impressively Reghan is one of the very few players to make the converted #1 ranking at U11, U13, U15 and now U17.  Congratulations to Miss!  Additional shoutouts to Isabella at #2, Claire at #8 and Lily at #20. For the boys, Colten leads us off at #3, followed by Parth at a career high #5 and Alex in at #10.  A solid bunch of young men if there ever was one and a great reward for hard work.

JJ as always leads the way at BU15 with his #5 ranking.  Jonathan continues to impress and is holding down #24.  The GU15’s have Erika, now back firing on all cylinders after her knee problems of last year, back into the top 10 at #10, Madeleine holding strong at #27 and Meredith having just aged up last week coming into the GU15’s at #35.

The U13’s are always exciting, with Mimi and Chloe leading the way as always at #19 and #22 respectively in their down years.  Shoutout as always to coach favorite Eric keeping his converted spot in the top 10 boys at #9.

Last but not least, our sole GU19 representative in the top 32 remains Maryam, our notional girls captain continues to work hard and be an excellent role model for her younger cohorts… we’ll miss her when she departs for UVA next season.

AND ONWARDS

Texas JCT last weekend was a tremendous success, and you can read about the kids exploits here if you have not already.  High School Nationals this coming weekend, then we are fully into “National Championships preparation time”, for Gold, Silver and Bronze participants… the big season peak is hopefully in front of all our players and we need to put in the hard work to ensure those big wins on the big stage.

Finally, my ubiquitous reminder that the program is not just about the top 32.  Every player is on their own journey. That being said, it’s always good to recognize effort, it’s always positive to recognize achievement, and well done to our top 32 Tigers - with many more to join them in the coming months!  See you all at training!
