USA🄈 History Made: Team USA Finishes as World Junior Championship Runner-Up

Team USA has achieved a historic milestone, securing a silver medal at the World Junior Championship—the best finish in the program’s history. After an outstanding run through the knockout stages, the U.S. fell to host nation Egypt 2-0 in the final.

Although Jack Elrani did not play in the championship match, his contributions throughout the tournament were instrumental in reaching this unprecedented result.

In the individual draw, Jack advanced to the Round of 16 with impressive victories over opponents from Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the Czech Republic. His third-round comeback from 0-2 down was a highlight of the week. In team competition, Jack continued to deliver under pressure, recording key wins during both pool play and the elimination rounds.

We are incredibly proud of Jack and his teammates for this record-setting performance. Congratulations to Team USA—and to our very own Squash Tiger—for a remarkable week on the world stage.
