The sun is shining and the birds are singing. We are a short week and a half from the "soft" start of our Summer Camps and all is well in the world! As I have discussed with many parents, it is an ideal time of year to emphasize Goal Setting. With that in mind I have put together a very simple explanation and review of goal setting for squash that you may access through the website. Please let me know if you have any questions, I believe it to be a very worthwhile exercise for all players to go through.
Quick points to consider:
Squash Tiger Summers kickoff June 1 - please note all our regular memberships end May 31
Our final Rehearsal Tournament is marked for June 8 - last one, best one!
If you know any families that would like their children to learn enough squash to participate in Summer Camps - we have them covered!
We will be in Charlottesville for in person coaching at the UVA Gold in June - please respond if you would like a Squash Tigers coach outside your court for the event
More hires to announce; last week we welcomed Michael Craig to our new Philadelphia club, this week we welcome Ebonie Reaves to Squash Tigers Princeton - please make both coaches feel welcome, Ebonie will commence mid-June.
We have ten days left of "planning season"! If you would like to avail yourself to a sit down meeting with me to discuss your child's squash and assist with summer planning, please reply to this email and we'll make it happen. The offer extends to those outside the usual Squash Tiger world, I'm always happy to offer advice and talk squash.
See you all soon.
