November, the clocks have gone back and winter is approaching! I always like to think that it’s only 46 days until the shortest day of the year… then the days start to get longer again! I hope that thought is a comfort as the night closes in earlier!
Last week was an awesome week at the club, with a fun celebration of Halloween and of course Diwali! This was followed quickly by a very successful Rehearsal Tournament and a weekend of solid training. We are really well and truly in “squash season” and the coaches and players are working hard!

The US Junior Open closing date for entries is fast approaching. We would encourage all our experienced players to consider participating in this fantastic event, the largest individual tournament in the world. It offers an unparalleled opportunity to compete against and watch elite competitors and we will of course have coaches there to assist you to navigate your way through the challenges. If you have any questions, simply reply to this email and we’ll make things clear.
Fall is traditionally the time for new players to learn the sport - please pass the details of our Learn-to-play Package to families who may be looking for that first step. Designed for kids aged 9 and above, it is our fast track to competition and proving very popular at the moment with many new faces in the club!
Coach Michael, our new Head Pro, has a lesson schedule that is filling up rapidly. If you would like a weekly lesson now is the perfect time to jump in with the request!

Thanksgiving Camps (even gasp Christmas Camps) are surprisingly not that far away and for the planners amongst us the details are already out! (as always, free to members and but open to anyone to join)
