Welcome to the new season!

Writer's picture: Paul FrankPaul Frank

This past weekend saw the first JCT of the season, and congratulations to the 16 Tigers who battled valiantly in Connecticut! This week sees us all back to school and back to tight schedules!  With that in mind our weekly reminders become a little more succinct and our squads designed to get the kids the training they need and then back to their various academic endeavors.

In keeping with that theme, this Saturday marks the first of our Rehearsal Tournaments, designed to get great competitive exposure for all levels of player, from JCT performers through to beginners.  A minimum of three, usually four matches, kickoff 9:30 AM and out early afternoon - open to everyone and free to 9 month members.  ALL players must enter via the website, by replying to this email or with Coach Claire directly by Friday afternoon. With this in mind please be aware that we have a shorter training day to accommodate the event, with one Performance at 2:00pm and one Squad at 3:00pm for the day.

In other news:

  • Parent / Coach Meetings - by no means compulsory, but sometimes helpful, I still have meeting slots available this week and next before my individual lesson schedule makes things a little tighter

  • Fall signup details are finalized, almost two months free on our 9 month membership - you can enroll online or simply reply to this email

  • New U11 training this Fall, a nice addition to the program!

  • Fall is traditionally the time for new players to learn the sport - pass the details of our Learn-to-play Package to families who may be looking for that first step into the sport

  • Stringing reminders, so no-one gets disappointed!

  • A no cost Mental Performance Consultation may be booked with Coach Ebonie by replying to this email

  • Reduced price lesson packs are available, contact coaches directly or reply to this email to guarantee yourself that weekly slot

September is upon us and all systems are go!  As always, reply to this email with questions and above all let’s make this a season to remember!

See you at training.

Paul and the team
