This past weekend, a focused crew of Squash Tigers headed north to Connecticut to take on the MSquash Junior Gold, hosted across the polished courts of Chelsea Piers and the SoNo MSquash facility. While the setting was calm, the competition was anything but!

A huge congratulations to our five top-10 finishers, with special applause for our two champions:

• 🏆 Eric captured the BU19 title after a marathon five-game thriller.
• 🏆 Jesse brought home his first BU13 Gold win, surviving a gritty four-game final.

We’re equally proud of:

• 🎖️ Claire, runner-up in the GU19, who competed hard in her four game loss against a higher-ranked opponent.
• 🎖️ Alison, who reached the GU13 semis, pushing the top seed to the limit in the semi with a near-upset in a tiebreak fourth game.

Every match showed grit, guts, and growth — and for Eric and Jesse, these victories mark their first Gold titles in their respective age groups. That’s a serious milestone!

Next stop: EA Gold and the always-electric Specter Center Gold. It’s (almost) home turf time, and we’re ready to roar in Philly!  ;)
